Hi everyone,

I recently flashed the Factory Dump available on the forum for my Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 15ARP10 (Motherboard model: 243022-1), but the laptop is stuck in a black screen loop (fans spin, but no post/video).

I suspect it is a security tie-in issue with the AMD PSP (Platform Security Processor) region from the donor machine.

I have attached a .zip file containing both my original corrupt BIOS backup and the donor Factory Dump from the forum. Could anyone please help me perform a Clear PSP / Clean AMD Region to adapt the working firmware to my original CPU?

Thank you so much in advance for your time and help!

I just flashed the modified file provided, but the laptop is now stuck in a continuous boot loop.

Here is the exact behavior:

  1. Upon pressing the power button, the fan immediately spins up to maximum speed.
  2. The power button LED blinks amber.
  3. After a few seconds, both the fan and the LED shut down completely.
  4. The system automatically restarts and repeats this loop endlessly. There is no post or video on the screen.
I have already tried letting the loop run for over 10 minutes to see if it was doing memory training or resetting the controller, but the behavior remains identical. I am also testing with the back cover properly installed to avoid any chassis intrusion switches blocking the power.

Could this be an incompatibility or desynchronization between the newly cleared main BIOS and the current firmware on the EC (Embedded Controller) chip?

Would it be possible to perform the Clear PSP / Clean Region using my original corrupt backup (bios-lenovo-corrupta.bin) as the base firmware file instead of the donor dump, to ensure full synchronization with my motherboard's hardware ID and EC version?

Thank you again for your support and assistance!
